OOTD: First Day of School

I can't believe today was the first day of school!  It's crazy.  The summer flew by so fast!

Every first day of school my mom always likes to take pictures of Julia and I, so I just used some of the pics she took!

Whenever I bring my makeup on a trip I like everything to be neat and organized, but it can't take up a lot of space.

So I haven't posted anything in a while because I've been on vacation and and also been soaking up the last few weeks of summer.

I was in Holland, MI, Grand Haven, MI, and at my friends summer home on Gun Lake.

How I Pack : Part 1

So this post is to show you how I packed for six days and five nights on a carry on.
I tend  to be very specific when I pack because I am a neat freak and I like all of my stuff to be organized.

This DIY isn't very specific because it really depends on what you have at home and what your preference of the texture of the scrub.
The main ingredient is honey because it's the base for the thick texture.  It also doesn't matter what type, or how much sugar you use.

Polka Dot Nails

I did this on Thursday night and since then I have gotten a lot of compliments on my nails.  This look takes a little longer, but it is worth it in the end.

Spiral Braid

I've seen pictures this look a lot, and I always wanted to do it.  I knew it would be hard to try it on myself, so I grabbed my friend Olivia and made a tutorial out of it.
